Hey!
There were so many great moments in this episode, it's hard for me to find my favorite. I absolutely loved Iris and Emmet's conversaion. "We aren't even married yet and I already want a divorce". OUCH! So harsh but I totally get where he is coming from. You have to wonder if she can do anything to make things right with him again.
Poor Deborah. She really does have a right to know what happened with Frank and Lucy. You know when the truth does come out, she will feel even worse because Frank lied to her again. It's nice to see that he's making an effort with her, but the truth would speak volumes to her. I love how you can play the insecurity card with her too. Of course, once someone cheats in a relationship, the mind will always wonder about whether he will do it again. There's so much emotion going on, especially with Daphne knowing.
Dizzy and Taylor were cute. I love the icecream comment. Of course, a part of me still hoping that Mac and Cassie will somehow get back together. lol. My other "Feel good" moment of the episode was with Seth and Leia. "Call me Seth" "My Mother can call you Seth". I loved it! She's sassy.
And OMG! Greta. I recall the episode where she showed the mysterious man the house and he barely looked at it before he said he would take it - I wonder if he's the one holding her hostage. Who could it be? I have a hunch, but I don't want to spoil it for others reading. Miles will really put himself through the ringer if something happens to her. Great cliff hanger!
I can't wait for the next episode.

That makes me feel a lot better, as you know, this is the first in a long line of longer lengthed episodes. In order to get to everyone on the roster I'm trying to expand the episodes to tell the grander story! So I'm glad you were able to find a lot of different moments you liked Dallas!
The dynamic between Emmet and Iris is something that I had been lacking in Season 1 & 2; for him being a 'legacy' character, if you will, he had been such a huge background character and his story with his fiance has suffered. So I brought them back to settle in Stone Creek in hopes to explore their dynamic/relationship. There will definitely be a road to recovery and understanding between these two characters. But wether they will do it together still remains a mystery...
Deborah definitely has the right to know about Lucy, but Frank is so afraid of losing Deborah that he doesn't see it that way. He still see's any situation with Lucy as his fault. Since he brought her into the family in the first place. The character of Frank has a lot to do with his last name, as you will see not only himself, but Charlene bring their last name up. The Nelson family has been dealt a harsh hand while in Stone Creek. From living a rich life as the major agricultural family in SC, to losing everything and being forced to live in poverty. So it's instilled in the generations that followed that although they 'deserve' the greater things in life, they will never get it. So Frank and Charlene had been set-up for failure every since they were children. That being said, Frank doesn't automatically think about Deborah or her mind-set as much as he thinks about bettering himself. There's still so much story to tell between them in the next season, just wait! I've got a surprise that'll definitely put a monkey wrench right in the middle of things!
Dizzy, Taylor & Leia are all characters that I've found only help each other's storylines. Throwing them into everyone else's storylines to be a voice of reason, or someone of comfort, or just for plain dmaned humor I've noticed only enriches that storyline. I think also Diem, Penelope and Kirsten fall into that category as well. Leia treats everyone differently as opposed to judgemental Kirsten or motherly, Diem. So having her put the sass on Seth in one scene and being taunted by Marina in another has only strengthened her character.
I'm really interested in who you think has Greta, although it will be revealed very soon. The last seven episodes of this season will be explosive and wrap the season up in catastrophe. Having said that, all I've got to tell you is to hold onto your seat. It's going to be a twist and turn sort of ending.
Thanks for reading Dallas!
