Hey,
I feel like this episode was an episode of people we haven't seen a lot of lately, so it was nice to see them back in the action. Like Gail, for example. We haven't seen her too much since the baby has been born. She's clearly stressed dealing with a new baby that is crying a lot (I think there's a term for it ... but I don't know what it is haha). I also got the sense that she's suffering from that pregnany depression that women can get. It'll be interesting to see how you plan this out.
Ian is another character that has been MIA for awhile, so he being featured in a few scenes was nice. He hadn't had a scene with Natalie for sometime, so it was nice to see them catch up and even though she didn't mean to spoil his relationship with Marina, it was fitting that she revealed that Marina and Helen were growing closer. I loved how Marina "accidently" then revealed the kiss that she and Ryan shared. I think anyone that reads your series on a regular basis, was cheering when Ian dumped her. Marina has not been a good girlfriend at all!
I was hoping we'd see more of Aidan, as his storyline hasn't been featured lately either. The Taylor/Amanda triangle is still lingering and I love how everyone is questioning whether he really wants to be with Amanda. more of this please!!
Penelope going to see Grady should be good too. Her scenes were pretty intense this episode, I felt her heartbreaking as I read it!
Great read Mykeeeeeeee! I can't wait for the next, D

I'm glad you liked the re-introduction of the seldom seen residents of Stone Creek, I'll be doing that periodically to catch-up on characters not in current front burner storylines. As for Gail, I didn't really think about depression, but that is a good way to put her current storyline. More about it will be explored during season four.
Natalie and Ian making amends was something that needed to happen for their next journey and where they end up. A slight spoiler, someone is coming back from Natalie's past in the next episode and it will reveal where her story is going from there. I sort of loosely modeled the relationship between Marina and Ian like Grey's Anatomy couple Meredith & Finn. Although a relationship between Ian and Marina doesn't seem likely from here on out, the possibility for Ryan to swoop her up is wide open now. Ian definitely deserved better than Marina who at first was intrigued by Ian she quickly grew bored and tried to re-live her attraction with Ryan.
The Taylor/Aidan/Amanda storyline isn't over yet. It's going to steam along for the remainder of the season and cool down for a bit so I can focus on whcih ever coupling wins out. But don't worry, it will heat back up later in Season Four. There's just way too much story to tell here!
There will be a lot more between Penelope & Jeremy coming up in this season and we do delve into her marriage to Grady and Jeremy's significance.
Thanks for reading Dallas! See you for the enxt episode[:
