Wow, what a loaded episode. The entire diamond/funeral storyline seemed to move so fast in the episode! So much went down from the truth about Aidan's role in Shannon's death to much, much, more of Kirsten's past being exposed.
I'm curious if Aidan is covering up the fact that he's gay because he doesn't want anyone to know. He clearly is and his relationship with Wesley is interesting (I can't wait for more scenes between the two), but he keeps saying he is "interested in females". Sometimes admitting the truth to yourself is the hardest step before you can admit it all to others as well. I love the reveal that he was the one that forged Shannon's signature for the diamonds (and why do I feel like this is still connected to the necklace from the memory from last episode?). In any event, I hope he does come back to Stone Creek - he's an interesting character to say the least.
Anita reminds me so much of Katherine on Y&R. She's still in charge and running the show but there's a hint of a softer side to her. I hope that she can return to SC as well and not stay in Paris lol.
With Kirsten and her past coming to light - I really didn't see that coming. The last scene was scary and very dark. You did a great job writing it. (I also love how she met Charlie). I thought that Gavin would some how come back into the picture while Kirsten was in Paris and it would be a new triangle - this is much more interesting. I am so interested to see where this goes and how it plays the future.
This is easily one of my all-time favorite episodes! Very well done Michael!

After this episode, there is going to be a lot more business orientated storylines. I've never really felt like that was my strong suit, but I am definitely trying to branch out and moves characters along. We got to see the Jurado clan from Paris here, and we will see them in the next episode as well. Who moves to Stone Creek is anybody's guess.
I want most of this episode to focus on explaining what was going on with Shannon at the time and how Kirsten developed when she was younger. Kirsten is head strong and determined. She doesn't fall for anything and has her own opinions and it is because the events that took place here. Her bond with Charlie is deep.
I created a lot of depth to these new characters because eventually I want to be able to choose which ones to bring to Stone Creek and be able to have story for them. Aidan has prospered a lot and his story is far from over. He is one of the main new characters I want to bring to Stone Creek and if I do, he will tie in to a lot of other stories.
the funny thing about Anita is that she is a long standing character in my bible. She has always been interested in two things, her children and the family business and this depiction of hers is spot on. She is a Katherine of sorts.
Thanks for reading Dallas, and stay tuned as we start to conclude our stay in Paris.
