Hey!
I simply love what's happening right now. I feel like there is a lot going on, which is great. I like series that there are many stories because every episode fills nicely, without feeling like there is a "B-list".
The family flocking to Paris is so interesting. The intro to Anita was great - I suspect a lot if secrets are going to be revealed. It sort of reminds me of old school Days of our Lives, when everyone went to Aremid for Jennifer and Peters wedding, it is kind of dark and you can fill the tension building. It was nice to see Charlie & Kirsten embrace near the end of ep, just because they have had stress lately. I'm so interested in Kirstens past and the first gay character (or at least it seems that way!).
The convo with James and Caitlyn was intense on the plane. The back drop with how his mother was left for dead and thus Shannon was at risk was powerful. It, like I said above, sets the tone for the Paris trip and creates some kind of big secret to be revealed (especially with this necklace!)
I liked the "smaller" scenes too, like Greta realizing that she wants a family after she and Miles were watching Megan. I like the mini drama brewing of Daphne warning her about marrying a cop and the potential danger of that. Also, the one follow up with Marina. Cassie has it on the head - find out who could have leaked the story and go from there.
Such a great episode - keep up the great work!

Thanks Dallas, there was so much going into this storyline inparticular that delayed a lot of my writing and although it's not half the storyline that I originially planned, I think it is still powerful. The Paris storyline is going to introduce a whole otherside of the Thurlow clan, with the possibility of some members of the family staying on canvas perminently.
Entertwining both the Shannon storyline and Kirsten's past with Charlie was one of the key points I wanted out of this storyline. Charlie and Kirsten are the modern day Shannon and Patrick. Two people from opposing families getting together and falling in love. So it is important to me to show Kirsten's and Charlie's backstory. As for Aidan being gay, it's not that simple.
When I wrote the "Bible" for the series, I wrote HUGE backstories for the three main families; Thurlows, Wilkinsons, & Suttons. So the story that James was telling Caitlyn is an excerpt from the Thurlows actual history.
Greta and Miles are a couple that haven't been featured as much, so it's nice to get a glimpse into their relationship. Other couples that haven't been hit as much include Bentley and Emily & Helen and David. These smaller stories I think hold the series together. These are all mostly supporting characters for other huge storylines, so to thrust them front and center for an episode or two is important to me.
As for Marina, there are so many more twists and turns for this story, you just have to wait and see! Thanks so much for reading Dallas, as always it's very much appreciated!
