Michael!
Such a GREAT episode! The Catalina storyline was absolutely amazing. Thinking that Izobel had left her and going to see Penelope with a gun was brillant. Since her first scene, she has always been a little off balanced, so this made complete sense. It was fitting that Mac got her to put the weapon down because his scenes with Izobel were sweet before the accident. The scene was absolutely riveting - I was on the edge of my seat! Major kudos for the scene itself and the surprise factor was huge, as I didn't see it coming.
I also liked the scenes with Caitlyn and Damien. Damien is such a snake, every word out of his mouth is like he's moving a chess piece in a game with Caitlyn. I can't wait for Diem to expose the scheme wide open. Helen sure likes to be a bitch to anyone and everyone; her scenes with Diem (calling her Demon) were so funny, in a good way. Bitchy-catfights are always some what funny.
I'm loving how Penelope and her family are being protrayed more now since the accident. I'm so curious to find out how and why she is a pillar in the community and how her family will react to her having a tumor. It was so touching to hear David confess to Helen that Pen is dying, only to have the next scene with Pen's family trying to get back to normal and play a board game. Cue the violin!
Audrey is SUCH a bitch ... I'm enjoying it. Clifton did cheat on her, so Audrey does have a point in terms of going after him. Of course, once her side of the scheme of being in chahots with Catalina is revealed, it will certainly add a new twist to the dynamic.
Another awesome episode Michael! I'm hooked! I can't wait for the next episode,
d

There is a connection between Catalina and Penelope that won't be explained until some time later. This will also delve into why Penelope is such a pillar character in Stone Creek.
I'n my "bible" there is a complete and complicated past about Stone Creek that tells a backstory of over 30+ years and in this bible the Wilkinson's were the first family that I created and then I went on to create the Thurlow's and then the Sutton's and so forth.
But that is for another time, although it is a nice little tid bit of Stone Creek history, which all will be explained as the stories progress.
Catalina has nobody to rely on, so having Mac there to actually treat her as a person who was vulnerable at the time is a huge turning point. Where there be change in her character? Only time will tell. I will tell you the truth though, I have always wanted there to more for Mac's character than just being Helen's sidekick and this was the perfect storyline to thrust him into.
With the whole catastrophe going on, the Caitlyn and Damien storyline kind of fell to a more back burner status. But look for it to hit a re-ignited flame as Diem holds a viable key to the secret. What does that mean for Abigail and who is the real Danielle? There is just going to be way too much devestation with the first reveal to even let this story dwindle.
As for Helen, her name says it all. As soon as she got herself entwined with James Thurlow in college, she hasn't left a single Stone Creek citizen unscathed.
Like I said before, the Wilkinson's were my first family crafted. There is so much more to branch out of this family and it'll last for years to come. Plus, Penelope was around for the whole beginnings of the fued between the Sutton's and the Thurlow's.
As for Audrey, it is no secret that her marriage is pretty much over with the way she presented herself in this episode. The question is though, will she take away Clifton's nightclub or will her secret tear her plans apart?
Thanks for reading Dallas, it is always a pleasure to hear back from you[:
