Oooh, things are about to get really good!
I love Helen and James encounter. Helen dropping that she (gasp) wants to kill Gail was priceless -- half joking, half serious. If something were to happen to Gail now, even if it was an accident, it would be so interesting to see James' reaction and if he wondered if Helen did try something. I would love if you really did a storyline that really got the readers to understand what makes Helen tick. She is her own worst enemy ... but something has to have happened to her that has made her this way. Regardless, this was my favorite scenes in the episode.
I must say, I'm growning fonder of the Ian/Marina pairing. I love that he jumped in and defended her to Natalie, who really has no reason to be such a bitch to Marina. It's time Ryan come back and claim he has deep feeligns for Marina to really set that rivalry back into motion.
I also thought it was a great twist that Abby likes Damien, while everyone else hates him. Caitlyn is going to be on thin ice if she continues her quest to not like him around Abby.
I love the twist with Mac. Finally he does he get air time that doesn't involve being Helen's side kick! Great twist putting him in bed with Izobel. Maybe this will mean we'll get to know her and Catalina a bit better.
The last scene was spooky. I can't wait to see what happens (assuming it was Emily & James in the car that was crashing into the pub). I love the twist of the car accident!
Awesome epiosde Michael -- keep up the fantastic work!

Thanks Dallas, things are definitely going to get a little hectic in Stone Creek. Wait for the next couple episodes for the fallout of the accident leaves everyone in chaos.
As for the Helen scenes, I'm glad you are liking them. Helen and James have a weird dynamic because at one point they were both madly in love with each other. They are complete opposites coming out of an "opposites attract" kind of romance. So I love putting them together in scenes. Helen will be explored down the line, once some of the current storylines start to wrap-up and a couple of them are almost at their end so it should be soon. As for the whole Gail death threat, just keep reading. [:
I'm glad that Ian/Marina is starting to warm up to you. Do I see them as a super couple? Not just yet. They have a long way before they solidify whatever it is that they are. But Ryan will definitely be back and the whole Natalie/Ryan/Marina/Ian storyline will kick into high gear with his return. Look for Ryan to take on more of a darker personality with his return as well.
As for the Abby/Caitlyn storyline, exactly. The fact that Abby feels more connected with Damien is what Caitlyn had been dreading ever since she found out that her daughter was still alive. This storyline has way too many twist to start slowing down right now, so just keep reading and see what happens.
Isobel figures into the character development of Mac as I try to flesh him out to be a little more than just Helen's sidekick, there will be more story in the future and will concrete him into the canvas a little bit more. Isobel isn't so different from Mac and she will help him realize that. I've loved their scenes together.
Like I stated above, the accident will only cause so much more chaos. In the midst of things more secrets will be revealed!!! So far this is my favorite catastrophy in the series. I've loved writing it all out.
Thanks for reviewing Dallas, it is so much fun reading your opinion and view on things. It really does help me brainstorm the series.
