Hey Michael,
I finally caught up on the episodes that I had missed. I do apologize for that -- I guess I just got caught up in my life and didn't see the episode releases at the EpiGuide. Do you have a Twitter account? If I followed you, I could get the updates that way!?
Anyways, I have a few things to say in general (not all within regards to this last episode).
Marina/Ryan/Ian -- I love this storyline. Ryan and Marina's break up was simple but extremely heartfelt. Both clearly cared for each other but were not in love with each other. It takes a lot for people to realize that about each other. I loved how Marina refused to jump into a relationship with Ian immediately after as well as she wanted to ensure he wasn't a rebound. Although, after finding out that Ryan left town without so much as a goodbye, it was nice that Marina went to Ian. I am curious as to see what or where Ryan went out of town. And how does Natalie play into this?
Charlene/Kevin/Patrick -- What a wicked twist having Patrick and Kevin work together. I suspect it can only get messy from here on out. I also enjoy that with each passing day, Charlene is clearly falling harder for Kevin.
Cassie/Cliff/Audrey -- So my favorite scene, maybe ever, was when Clifford came home and Audrey confronted him. He, of course, denied the affair and she seemingly believed him and they agreed to get away for the holidays. It was so well written. I am curious as to who she is always on the telephone with though. Does she has a spy watching him? The confrontation between Cassie and Audrey was great as well, followed by Cliff and Audrey. I loved her line "I want a divorce now". Priceless. This stalker of Cassie's is also interesting - I'm wondering if something will happen to the baby as a result.
Damien -- I love how he's toying with everyone in town. He seems to have Caitlyn, Gillian and so many others wrapped around his finger. Having him "find" Megan at the park was brillant. Is Abby really Danielle? That almost seems too easy -- it would be great if we could see a dark side to Abby that would almost make Caitlyn NOT want Abby to be her daughter. ALmost like a "becareful what you wish for" type of thing.
My request as well would be to have more Helen! I think she's great, always having something up her sleeve.
Overall Michael, I really am loving your series. It's by far my favorite new series that I've started to read this past year. I keep meaning to post a "best and worst of 2010" on my forum, in which I say this is the best new series from 2010. You have created a wonderful, traditional, soap here and I look forward to many more episodes!
Cheers, d

Thank you so much for your feedback Dallas, it really means a lot to me and quite honestly helps me web new stories for the future and shows me what needs to be emphasized more clearly. As for twitter I do have an account, but not one for the show. I'll get on making one though as it is a great idea to keep people updated.
Let's get started.
I hate it in soap opera's when a couple gets together right after the destruction of another. It just irks me because I am not that kind of person. I wait months, and in this case, years to get into another relationship. For Marina and Ryan they were together for a long time so the hurt is still clearly there for Marina. She doesn't want to rush into things with Ian, no matter how much she likes him. But they will start to grow closer as time passes by. Natalie is angry at Marina for Ryan leaving, although unknown to them all, Ryan will definitely be back. His character is going to get a little more edgy then the sweet understanding guy he used to be. That is due in part to Marina lying to him about the kiss. Look for him to come back in a scandalous way. The Natalie/Ryan/Marina/Ian quad is only about to heat up.
As for Charlene/Kevin/Patrick things are definitely going to get messy before they get better. Charlene is falling for Kevin indeed. Especially since he has always treated her better than Patrick ever has. But look for Patrick to put a wedge between Charlene and Kevin. He is not an entire bad guy. Patrick is going to flesh out a lot more this season, I'm really starting to enjoy writing for him where as at first I didn't know when I wanted to add him to the series. Patrick wants things with his family to work. Kevin wants Charlene. And Charlene is just looking for an excuse to stay with either man.
This was supposed to be just a side story but these three really broke into their own recently. I just love the dynamics of the whole situation with them. Cassie's naivity has so far only gotten the best of her as she tried to take care of the baby alone. She is definitely growing as a person. Whilst the marriage between Clifton and Audrey starts to deteriate. There will be a huge turning point in this storyline coming soon that will make all parties run for cover. I think the thing that drives this storyline is just the raw emotion. Audrey has always tried to have a baby by Clifton but somehow he got a random stranger pregnant instead!!!
As for Damien. He is always playing with a full deck of cards. There is so much more to the story about Danielle. It's not as easy as it seems and some more surprising twists are on their way. Look for a couple heartfelt moments between Abby and Caitlyn. As for Damien, he is messing with a lot of people in Stone Creek. Just saying, look forward to what happens next. Damien has always been in my mind, a signature villain. That being said, just because I have fallen in love with him does not mean he will always be safe.
I have been trying to work Helen into the current going-ons. So don't worry there will be more meddling from Helen very soon. Her storyline with David/Gail/Adrian will pick up some more in the coming episodes. Then just wait until she hears about Caitlyn almost losing Megan!!! Helen is such a hard character to write for because she always has good intentions but she goes about things the wrong way. So unless her character is staying true to herself, I wont write for her.
Again, thanks for the comments Dallas, I always enjoy reading them. I feel honored that you say my series is the best new series. I have tried my best to keep the series honest and true to itself. I'll keep you updated as much as possible!
