Hey!!
I liked this episode because it gave Diem a good front and center episode/storyline. I had seemingly forgotten about her date with Seth (or was it never mentioned in an actual episode before?), but it was nice that they were able to get out. We had only ever seen Seth in the scenes with Marina at the paper, so it was nice getting him out and about. I was a touch confused though because I was under the impression that the date went well, but when Diem went home she told Leia that nothing was going to happen. Is this because Leia is now working with Seth and Marina? In any event, it could have some great scenes with Seth and Diem maybe disagreeing over how Seth was being Leia's boss. Also, I love the twist that Leia and Marina will be working together. Why is it that Marina has so many other women that dislike her. Leia, Natalie ... they could start a club!
Also on the Diem front, I had completely forgotten about Emily's quest to locate her parents and has those initials DC. I had only forgotten because there has been so much else going on in the series. THis was a nice way to bring it up again. I still have a hunch as to what's happening ...
With the episode being so full with Diem/Leia and Marina (the ending, OMG!), we didn't get to explore much of the Cassie storyline, which is okay because I sense it will be present through out the series. I Can't wait for her to have to go really deep into her past and realize that her twin could have been the one that shot her. Throwing Deborah into the scenes with her as a therapist was good too.
And the ending! I knew it was only a matter of time before Marina and Ryan kissed again! He's been working hard to make her notice him again, and really we haven't seen that much of Ian lately ... I wonder what Natalie will do when she learns about this!
Keep up the great work! Dallas

Diem has always been an under-used Main Character the past two season's. I like to think of her as one of my smartest characters; with her rich history in the series. She is apart of one of the founding families of Stone Creek. Diem was James Thurlow's High School Sweetheart. Now with her daughter back in Stone Creek and her uncle, Jeremy making his first appearances (Although he has always resided in Stone Creek) I want to bring the Joplin family to the foreground. Now that I am exploring the Wilkinson family tree, now is the best time to do it!
Marina seems to have a group of haters! Haha, but a lot of it has to do with Marina being so ambitious and wide-eyed. With Marina and Ryan's kiss, this is definitely another reason for Natalie to jump back into the haters circle!
Giving Emily another storyline has always been in the works! I hope it pays off for you Dallas[: I also love involving other main character's in minor roles for other main character storylines. (Deborah being Cassie's therapist, Diem searching for Emily's parents, Caitlyn discovering Lucy is in town, etc.) it makes Stone Creek feel more like a City and not a bunch of stand-alone scenes.
