OMG! What a fun episode! The Halloween party was the perfect back drop for many stories to come together on a larger scale.
My favorite scenes were with Helen again. Her conversation with David was so raw ... he is clearly ready to end the marriage and she seems so lost in what has actually happened to their relationship. It is sad in some ways. Then for Kirsten to find out about her taking Megan to the meeting was great. Helen seemed not to care much about not getting the chance to baby sit anymore - it's sort of what Kirsten was saying all along.
Gail! OMG! What could be wrong with her? This illness/fainting spell really seemed to come out of left field as up to this point everything in the pregnancy had been going well. You wrote it so well because my mouth literally fell open because I just wasn't expecting anything like that to happen. I had to re-read to make sure I didn't miss anything ;D Nicely done! I can't wait to see what happens next.
Gillian, Gillian, Gillian. It's so sad that her father had to inform her that Damien was running for mayor (nice twist btw) and not her own finance. Just another sign that there are so many things not right in their relationship and yet she's beyond clueless because of her own family issues. One has to think it's only a matter of time before it blows up in her face.
Clifton's arrival at the hospital with Cassie and Mac was great. Because Lucien's injury wasn't serious, it does make sense that Cassie wouldn't have called Clifton ... but I see his point as well that she "forgot" about him. This should get interesting going forward.
Great episode Michael! I can't wait for the next! d

Helen and David's marriage has been going south for awhile now but we haven't really explored it until this season. The fact that David is realizing that there's always going to be some sort of conflict between them is alarming. The surprising thing is, Helen is used to everyone being her rival except for David so of course she is lost in what to do. Their future will be determined next season but there is still more for them to overcome this season. As for Megan and Kirsten's involvement in Helen's life. Kirsten is very cautious when it comes to her daughter and her family, she knew Helen wasn't very attentive when it comes to her family. The fallout for their relationship will be focused more in season three.
I've wanted to bring a realness to Stone Creek that isn't always brought in scripted dramas. Things that can happen to everyday people, trying on Halloween clothes, Greta struggling to get her business off the ground, Penelope's cancer scare. What happens to Gail in the following episodes will add a touch of reality to the situation. It's something that a cousin of mine had dealt with in her pregnancy and a subject that I reasearched a couple years back in school. Look forward to it as it changes a lot for them.
Gillian was started off as reliant and clueless when she first appeared in the series but throughout she has shown a mixture of smarts and naivity. Now she is being pinned between her father and her fiance. This triangle will reach new heights in Season Three but be prepared for more twists as they all struggle with the things they want.
Clifton and Cassie seemed like they were headed towards power couple status before Mac came along. The incident with Lucian is definitely wrench in Cassie's plans to start a relationship with Mac. Things will flow into season three with this storyline and other characters will be dragged into it as well.
Thanks for reading Dallas, _Mykeee.
