The last episode before the two week gap, " This is the Sound of Settling" has a couple extra scenes added to it. Read as a couple key characters put plans into motion that they might regret, heartfelt emotions brew to the surface and some find that their decisions could possibly lead to deadly consequences...

Hi Michael,
So I have finally caught up on reading OCS! I love how you've built up the stories; nothing *HUGE* happened in episode one, you've just taken your time and set up some really great plot lines.
I love Helen, I think she is my favorite character as she is seemingly involved in a lot of different situations and storylines. I would love to know exactly what she has against Gail and why she is so determined to bring her down. I love how her assistant is tracking down Adian; I'm sure his presence will add a lot of storyline.
I also really love the storyline with Natalie plotting to get Ryan away from Marina, all the while Marina is secretly pinning for Ian, who happens to be Natalie's brother! What an awesome twist that was. I would love to see more interaction between Marina and Natalie; set up a real rivalry with the two. It would be neat to see how they interact after Ian and Marina get together (which is bound to happen at some point).
I'm also curious about the Thurlow vs. Sutton fued. We haven't seen much interaction between the two outside of Charlie and Kirsten having debates about a dinner that is supposed to happen. If we had more indepth discoveries of what the fued is about and see other characters actually interact, I think the storyline would only intensify.
Cassie's past as a stripped is certainly interesting. I wouldn't have expected that from her as she seemed like up standing girl. Her pregnancy by her boss is another great twist. I'm looking forward to seeing it developed as to the how and why behind her choice of career and how she handles the baby on the way.
Overall, I'm looking forward to reading more and getting hooked on more of your storylines!

Thanks for the comments Dallas! I'm so glad that you caught up with the series. I'm expecting delays with the Founder's Ball episodes right now since I just finished up school. But they should be up soon!
I'm glad you have taken an interest in Helen because she is indeed a complex character. When she wants something she wont back down to get it and I think thats what makes her so "involved" in everyone else's lives. When Aidan comes into the series a lot will be explained. There have been hints to why Helen hates Gail, but I think a whole flood gate of emotions is just waiting to be released!
As for the Nat/Ryan/Marina/Ian storyline it's still one that I am carving out. I am trying to make it so that Natalie and Ian do eventually become core characters and with that will come many more scandals down the road with a couple family secrets as well. Natalie is a lot like Helen which I find funny because Marina is Helen's daughter. As of right now I am trying to beef up the whole Ian & Marina storyline becuase although I love these characters together I feel there really isn't much staying power. The Founder's Ball is going to be a concrete step in their foundation and possibly split up Ryan and Marina for good. As for the rivallry between the girls, it isn't over anytime soon.
The Thurlow and Sutton fued was something I wanted to throw the series into in the beginning but then it got really jam packed with storylines, the blame falls on myself. But I will be working in the details later on after the Founder's Ball. There is a twist that will bring the Thurlow's and Sutton's to blows in episode 10 "Everybody Learns From Disaster" There is just so much history that has been written out for these two families that it will leave repurcussions for years, once it is truely out.
As for Cassie, it was my fault for the misunderstanding. Cassie was never a stripper, she just got scared when she saw Audrey, who is married to Clifton. I mean if you were carrying a married man's child and his wife was playing 20 questions, wouldn't you just play along? ;D There will be many twist and turns for this storyline as Cassie and Clifton both find out more about the eleged "drugging" of their drinks at the club. Cassie will start to remember more of what happened and she will deal with wether or not she should keep the baby or give it up for adoption.
Thanks again Dallas it means so much for the feedback! The Founder Ball episodes will be up soon!
